McCurdy recently posted a frighteningly skinny photo to Instagram to spotlight the effects of body shaming, which is the act of making someone feel bad about their body's size and shape.

The iCarly and Sam & Cat star' Instagram shot with a waist far too thin to hold up her upper body.

"Hey guys - can we stop using facetune and other flaw-correcting apps to extremes?" McCurdy captioned the photo. "Instead of camouflaging our flaws and feeling ashamed, let's embrace our strengths and feel empowered."

In a new interview with Vulture, Jennette McCurdy also recently confirmed that she's been dating her co-star, Jesse Carere, for about a year!

"This is maybe staking a big claim in my future self, but I would say that I certainly love him right, you know?" McCurdy said.

"I feel like I'm learning to love in all the right ways and to accept love for who I am versus an impressive version of myself. I think from an early age I learned to be whatever person people needed me to be."
