‘Starcraft 2: Legacy of the Void’ Update: ’Nova Covert Ops’ Discounted At 33% Off; Includes Three Mission Packs, Covert Ops Ghost Skin
"Starcraft 2 Nova Covert Ops" pre-order goes on sale with the price discounted at 33% off.
After 17 years, "Legacy of the Void" has finally concluded the critcally acclaimed "Starcraft 2" trilogy. However, it opened doors for an update of new multiplayer mode that would continue in the coming years, AV Club reported.
Blizzard recently announced that the first DLC for "Starcraft 2" will be arriving in Spring 2016 and is now available for pre-order at Blizzard.net. iDigital Times reported.
The downloadable mission named "Nova Corvert Ops" is the first paid DLC for the series which costs $14.99.
According to Battle.net, "Nova Covert Ops" includes three mission packs with separate campaign missions. Each mission packs can also be purchased, priced at $7.49, when the mission goes live.
Players who pre-ordered the mission pack will also receive a unique Nova portrait. It will be out for players when the first series of missions are launched. While "Covert Ops Ghost" skin for their Ghost units will be awarded to players who owned three missions.
Interestingly, players who do not own "Starcraft 2" may purchase this first ever DLC campaign through Starter Edition.
Meanwhile, "Starcraft 2: Legacy of the Void" latest update brings Karax to its co-op missions. This commander is currently being offered for free but players must note that additional commanders in the future will be purchased.
"Karax has an arsenal of powerful abilities at his command, some of which provide passive benefits throughout your game, and others that can be activated through the Spear of Adun interface at the top of your screen.," as described by the game developer.
The commander has also six abilities and has his own set of mechanical units that can be healed by "Reconstruction Beam" ability. (All details can be found here .)
