Acer Predator Z35 Released; Company Director Feeling Positive With Future Unit Sales!
Acer has launched a new model of their predator gaming series, a 35-inch Ultrawide display with a curved panel, "the Predator Z35" on 14th December 2015 at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.(Along with seven other new models of Acer's Predator Gaming series including Desktop, Gaming Laptop, Monitor and Tablet)
The eight models of Acer Predator Gaming series include:
- Laptops: Acer Predator 15, Acer Predator 17,
- Tablet: Acer Predator 8 gaming tablet,
- Desktops: Acer Predator G6, Acer Predator G3
- Monitors: Acer Predator Z35, X34 and XB1 gaming monitors.
According to nst.com, Acer Inc's Sales and Services Managing director, Ricky Tan has said "We are positive over the sales of this new game series since the demand for the gaming products is very encouraging,"
TechnoBuffallo cited that Acer America's Product Manager, Charlotte Chen has said "We're thrilled to bring the Predator Z35 to our customers in the United States. This state-of-the-art gaming display offers one of the most exciting visual gaming scenarios available today. We believe the combination of super smooth action play, lifelike images and powerful audio will put this on the wish list of even the most ardent gaming enthusiasts."
Pricing: Acer Z35 is available at a reasonable price of around $1,100.
Now coming to it Specs(with reference to Acer's Press release), The Predator Z35 is a 35-inches ultra-wide, curvy monitor that is without-a-doubt a top-notch PC gaming set-up!
The Ultra-wide behemoth comes with an aspect ratio of 21:9 and a curve measurement of 2000R (Today's curved monitors mostly range between 2000-3000R). This first-rate monitor features a 2.560X 1080 Pixel Resolution, a 3000:1 Contrast ratio and a wide 178 degree viewing angles. Acer Inc Believes that Acer Predator Z35 can overclock to a 200Hz refresh rate(144Hz being the standard refresh rate).
Acer Z35 has an underglow ambient lighting that can be adjusted on the monitor itself and the stand with -5 to +25 degree ergonomic tilt and height adjustments upto five inches, in-built 9W speakers, a Blue light Filter and a hole specifically designed for cable management on desks.
Input-wise, there are both HDMI as well as DisplayPort 1.2 for Video and four 3.0USB port. In addition to this, the display covers cent percent sRGB color space which might enable artists and designers to consider this model.
