Vin Diesel Has Started Filming ‘xXx: The Return Of Xander Cage’ With Samuel L. Jackson!
Movie buffs and action-film junkies were delighted to hear that Vin Diesel is reprising his role in the upcoming "xXx: The Return of Xander Cage" that was reported to have started filming this December.
Moreover, fans of the franchise were also surprised to find out that Samuel L. Jackson is also returning to the film's cast, according to sources.
It was reported that Vin Diesel confirmed the production and filming of the upcoming "xXx: The Return of Xander Cage" when he posted a photo via his Instagram account that stated "filming of the movie starts in December in the Philippines," as stated by Coming Soon.
It was also noted that Vin Diesel took to Facebook to announce that the movie's script for "xXx: The Return of Xander Cage" was already due the month following the post, according to Screen Rant.
"As you know, the new 'XXX' script finally comes in next month... and just this morning people are suggesting Katy Perry as the new X girl," the actor wrote on his Facebook account.
The much anticipated "xXx: Return of Xander Cage" that stars Vin Diesel was reported to have been written by John D. Brancato and Michael Ferris ("Terminator Salvation" and "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines") and to be produced by Neal H. Moritz ("Fast and Furious" series) without any announcement on who will direct the film, as stated by the International Business Times.
In addition, it was reported that veteran-actor Samuel L. Jackson will be reprising his role as Augustus Gibbons, the man responsible for recruiting Xander Cage into the agency in the first installment of the franchise, according to Latino-Review.
Vin Diesel posted a photo with the caption that stated,
