Recent news about Vladimir Putin and Russia's fight against ISIS in Syria indicated that a Russian Su-25 bomber deployed an airstrike that destroyed a "large base" of Islamic State in Idlib province, after Syrian opposition forces assisted the Russian military forces with the target's coordinates, as previously reported.
This military tactic employed by Vladimir Putin came shortly after Russia deployed its S-400 Surface-to-Air Missile batteries, which is the most advanced air defense systems currently operational, in Syria, succeeding the crash of a Russian Air Force Su-24M bomber by the Turkish Air Force over the Syrian border, as stated by the The Hindu.
"Russian air strikes in Syria have killed hundreds of civilians and caused massive destruction in residential areas, striking homes, a mosque and a busy market, as well as medical facilities, in... attack that show evidence of violations of international humanitarian law, the Amnesty said in a new report, as stated by Reuters.
