Bandai Namco Entertainment Teases New Game; Fans Speculate ‘God Eater Resurrection!’
Bandai Namco Entertainment teased the gaming community today with a new 'mysterious game,' according to PlayStationLifeStyle.net.
Today on Twitter, Bandai Namco US and Bandai Namco UK Twitter accounts sent out a tweet with a cryptic message about a 'mysterious game' coming soon.
"Can you feel the hunger? #MysteriousGame," read the tweet, which included a link that goes to a website called bne-project.com, according to Segment Next. The website features a countdown clock and it projects different images with random sounds. Some game websites say it started with a 75 hour countdown clock and now it is going down by the second.
In addition, if a visitor stays for a while in the teaser site, a message in Spanish appears. "El trabajo en equipo nos mostrara el camino," it read. If translated in English, it means "teamwork will show us the way."
Some game websites have viewed the website's source code and a peculiar line stands out, according to Gamespot. "Find the clues, share them with your friends and discover the mysterious game," read the line in the code.
Other websites are speculating it might be the "Tap My Katamari" game that Namco Bandai Entertainment filed a trademark last month, according to IGN. There is no confirmation from the game publisher, so everyone on the internet is still guessing.
The game publisher will announce the game officially once the countdown ends. Game websites calculate that the reveal is going to be on Monday, Dec. 21.
A post from a game forum might have given some speculators a clue for the next game being teased. A post by Gumelef suggests that the game might be a "God Eater" game. The post reads that Bandai Namco Entertainment has filed trademark for "God Eater Resurrection" in Europe. The poster even speculates that "God Eater 2" might be coming to the West too.
