Harry Potter's 'Fantastic Beasts' Trailer Released; Story Promotes Witchcraft?
Warner Bros. Pictures has released the first trailer for, "Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them" and it is a mix between a prequel and a spin-off of the "Harry Potter" series, according to CNET.
The movie is based on author J.K.Rowling's 2001 novel and is set in the 1920s in New York City. This is 70 years before meeting Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley, revealed ABC News.
"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" is a novel read by Harry Potter in a class at Hogwarts and the book is written by Newt Scamander.
The movie tells the story of Scamander, and the magical creatures he collected and later wrote about.
Rowling took to Twitter after the trailer has been released, to thank the fans for their support over the upcoming movie.

The trailer begins with a phrase spoken and it is the illumination spell, "Lumos Maxima!" This reveals the Warner Bros. logo and a great hall is shown with a woman arriving with her suitcase.
She warns a person who seems to be in charge that Newt Scamander, a wizard and the film's hero, has arrived in New York the previous day with the briefcase.
In the briefcase were the creatures, but they have managed to escape.
The film has a star-studded cast that includes Eddie Redmayne portraying Scamander, Collin Farrell and Ezra Miller. Rowling wrote the screenplay for the movie, which the author tweeted.

Director David Yates, who directed most of the recent "Harry Potter" movies, is back for the prequel.
Meanwhile, teachers who use "Harry Potter" in their lessons are receiving complaints from religious parents who are worried that their children are being exposed to "witchcraft and satanism," reported the Daily Mail.
According to the UK Government's behavior tsar Tom Bennett, families from Muslim or Evangelical Christian backgrounds don't want the schools to use the books because they "trivialize acts of magic."
"In circumstances such as these it is about understanding what their concerns are (and) working together to find a solution," said The National Association of Head Teachers.
"Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them" is scheduled to hit theaters in Nov. 2016.
