‘Mortal Kombat X’ DLC To Have New Characters; To Be Revealed At The 2015 Game Awards!

"Mortal Kombat X" will have new DLC coming soon which is rumored to contain new characters that will be added to the roster, according to PC and Tech Authority.

"Mortal Kombat X" is a fighting video game and the recent iteration of the "Mortal Kombat" gaming franchise. The game was developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros, Interactive Entertainment. The game was launched on April 14, 2015. It is playable on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions were supposed to be released, but were cancelled later.

In addition, a few months ago, DLC characters were also introduced by the game developer. The new characters that were added to the roster were Jason Voorhees, Predator, Tanya and Tremor.

The creator of the game, Ed Boon is teasing in a tweet that there will be a new character that will be revealed soon. He said that it will be revealed on Dec. 3 during the Video Game Awards, according to sources.

The new "Mortal Kombat X" DLC will be called "Kombat Pack 2" and will contain new characters for players to try out, according to Yibada. The mystery characters will be revealed on Game Awards 2015. There will be four new playable characters. The DLC pack will also contain new character skins, classic arenas and a new "Jurassic mode" for the game.

Boon said that the viewers can look forward to seeing "Who's next" in the next DLC pack. "Who's next" is a famous terminology that NetherRealm has used for revealing new characters for a "Mortal Kombat" game, according to Gamespot.

In addition, the upcoming "Mortal Kombat X" DLC was first announced last September by the game developer. The developer has said that they will release the first half of a batch of new characters for the game next year.
