Momoland’s Baby Siblings: MLD Entertainment Gears Up To Debut A New K-Pop Girl Group

It seems like MOMOLAND's Hyebin, Jane, Nayun, JooE, Ahin, and Nancy are going to be big sisters. Just recently, it was confirmed that MOMOLAND's label, MLD Entertainment, is gearing up to debut a new K-Pop girl group for the first time since 2019.
Just recently, MLD Entertainment confirmed that they will launch a new K-Pop girl group via an announcement. The agency has gone on to reveal the upcoming K-Pop group's official logo, to the delight of netizens.
Notably, along with the upcoming K-Pop girl group's logo, the MLD Entertainment explained the new girl group, now known as Lapillus, will be officially making their debut next month in June.
The name of the upcoming group, "Lapillus," is derived from a Latin word for a jewel, and the K-Pop group will focus on giving a message of finding one's own color. Adding to this, Lapillus will be the first K-Pop girl group from MLD Entertainment in 6 years since debuting Momoland.
At present, the confirmed members of Lapillus so far are Nonaka Shana from Mnet's "Girls Planet 999" and popular Filipino-Argentinian prospect Chanty. Details such as the number of members or debut song have not yet been announced, as of writing this article.
More updates regarding Lapillus' debut will be released in the coming weeks as the girl group's debut draws closer. Fans are hoping that MLD Entertainment's upcoming K-Pop group will see the same success or surpass MOMOLAND.
