Just recently, ARMYs (the fandom name of BTS) have gone on to social media to make the hashtag #RespectJungkook trend. The reason why? Fans of the K-pop group are using this as a way to fight back against haters who have been mean and unpleasant towards BTS' Jungkook.
Acts of mistreatment from these 'supposed BTS fans' towards Jungkook were recently made viral via tweets. Specifically, hate towards the K-pop maknae began with his "Rainism" cover in 2017.

In the past, the maknae has even taken a break from social media after a plethora of insults against him were made, making ARMYs worried about the possibility of it happening again.
To fight the unnecessary hate towards BTS' Jungkook, fans made the hashtag #RespectJungkook trend, showing the K-pop idol how much he actually means to his fans. Some have even begun sharing reasons why the BTS maknae deserves to be appreciated.
