Jay Park Under Fire After Hanging Out With BTS’ Jungkook, Soloist Responds To Criticism
Jay Park and BTS' Jungkook recently posted photos after spending time with one another, but it seems like the former 2PM member has garnered negative criticism and this is not the first time Jay Park became under fire after hanging out with K-pop idols.
Just recently, Jay Park posted photos of him with BTS' Jungkook on his Twitter and Instagram accounts. Notably, Jay Park captioned his photos differently depending on the social media platform, but both captions were praises towards the maknae of BTS Jungkook.
Following this, BTS' Jungkook reposted Jay Park's updates on the K-pop idol's personal Instagram account. AS the photos showed the two K-pop idols in a recording studio, some fans hoped for a possible collaboration.
Most fans were happy to see Jay Park and BTS' Jungkook meetup, specifically Korean netizens. But a huge number of international fans were not happy, notably making criticisms towards Jay Park.
International fans believed that Jay Park was being 'hypocritical', calling the soloist out for previously calling K-pop 'manufactured and 'inauthentic', believing now that the soloist is using K-pop idols for clout.
Adding to this, the hashtag #jkhostagesituation went on to trend online which implies that BTS' Jungkook was being held hostage by Jay Park, being forced to take a selfie with the K-pop soloist.
Following the criticism, Jay Park has gone on to respond to the criticisms he has gotten. Instead of replying with hate, Jay Park tweeted a positive message which had a plethora of colorful hearts as emojis.
