HBO Max Casts Woojin, Formerly Of Stray Kids, In Upcoming ‘Além do Guarda-Roupa’ Series

Former Stray Kids member Kim Woojin is planning on stepping into the K-drama industry as the K-pop idol has been confirmed to be playing the lead role in HBO Max's upcoming series!
As per 10x Entertainment, the agency of former Stray Kids member Kim Woojin, the K-pop idol has been cast to play the lead role in HBO Max's upcoming original series entitled "Além do Guarda-Roupa" which is roughly translated to "Beyond the Wardrobe."
HBO Max's upcoming series "Além do Guarda-Roupa" is slated to take place in Sāo Paulo, Brazil, and is going to be a drama revolving around the story of a teenage girl who discovers a portal and meets a K-pop idol (Kim Woojin) via the portal.

Notably, this is an amazing achievement as Kim Woojin has now become the first Korean actor to play a lead role in an HBO Max series. The former Stray Kids member will be playing the character of Kyungmin, a member of the K-pop boy group ACT.
Further adding to this amazing news, Kim Woojin will be starring alongside popular Brazilian actress Sharon Blanche. 10x Entertainment, the former Stray Kids member's agency, revealed that the K-pop idol is already in Brazil to begin filming the upcoming HBO Max series and will return to Korea sometime in June.
