Initially, ONCEs (the fandom name of TWICE) were hyped on the album's release, some K-pop fans noticed that Tzuyu was not present from the introduction to the "More & More - Japanese Version" MV making movie which was included in TWICE's album DVD.
Tzuyu was in a group shot with the rest of the TWICE members initially at the start of the "More & More - Japanese Version" MV making movie, but the K-pop idol did not get a solo shot, unlike other TWICE members.
Netizens and K-pop fans also saw that TWICE's Tzuyu did not have a solo scene in the Japanese version of their "I CAN'T STOP ME" MV that was in the "#TWICE4" DVD although she had one in the Korean version of the MV.
Due to this TWICE fans began trending #TzuyuDeservesBetter and many more related hashtags on Twitter to make JYP Entertainment aware of the K-pop idol's mistreatment.
Following this, JYP Entertainment dropped a statement regarding TWICE Tzuyu's absence from the intro of the "More & More - Japanese Version" MV making movie on TWICE's official Japanese Twitter account.
JYP Entertainment announced:
"Thank you very much for your continued support of TWICE. Regarding the contents of 'More & More - Japanese Version,' Music Video Making Movie included in the DVD of #TWICE4 Limited First Press Version B (WPZL-31947) released March 16 (Wednesday), during the final stages of production when making the video master, a system glitch occurred causing only the cuts to be replaced.
We deeply apologize for a great deal of inconvenience and unpleasant feelings we have caused to the members and everyone involved, as well as to the fans who always support us. In the future, we will pay close attention to prevent this from happening again and make every effort to prevent a recurrence. The correct video that was supposed to be included will be available on the 'TWICE JAPAN OFFICIAL YouTube Channel' from 9 PM today (March 18).
We deeply apologize once again."
Although JYP Entertainment explained that TWICE Tzuyu's solo shot was taken away from the intro because of a system error, K-pop fans believed that the label should have checked the DVD for errors prior to its distribution. Since the issue, a corrected version has been uploaded.
