‘Elite: Dangerous Horizons’ Launch Date Announced; David Braben Releases Video!

"Elite Dangerous" is the fourth installation of the "Elite" game franchise. It was released on Dec. 16, 2014. It was also partially funded by a Kickstarter campaign. It was released on the PC and later on Xbox One. The Xbox One version was launched on Oct. 6, 2015.
The game is a spaceship emulation game that can let a player trade, pirate, bounty-hunt and many more. The "Horizons" expansion is the upcoming expansion of the game that will introduce new features to it. "Horizons" is also called "Season 2" of the game since it will have continuous updates and development in 2016.
The new expansion, "Horizons," still has no specific release date, but it will be launched in 2016, according to sources.

In this video, watchers will see a shin in orbit which will go around Europe. Europe is a moon of Jupiter. The ship will then dock at Haberlandt Surver on the surface, according to VG247. The game website said that it looks better than the old videos which were released last time.
"Elite Dangerous" developer Michael Brookes has given details on what players might expect on the first beta of the new expansion pack in a forum post at the Frontier's community boards. The game will have planetary landings and the promising enhanced virtual reality support, according to Road To VR.
"We're also continuing to further improve the VR experience," said the development team in a statement. "HTC Vive and Steam VR support will be added to both the 1.5 and Horizons Beta as well as various bug fixes and tweaks."
The company is said to be working further with the Oculus and promises to let fans know about the development as soon as it is possible.
