‘Snowdrop’ Star Jung Hae In Is In Talks To Join The Star-Studded Cast Lineup Of New KBS K-Drama
"Snowdrop" actor Jung Hae In is in talks to join the star-studded cast of the upcoming KBS drama "Trees Die on Their Feet."
Jung Hae In's agency FNC Entertainment confirmed that Jung Hae In received an offer to star in the upcoming K-Drama and is still reviewing the project.
The upcoming KBS drama "Trees Die on Ther Feet" will be directed by Yoon Sang Ho is has helmed the hit K-Drama "River Where the Moon Rises."
"Trees Die on Their Feet" will tell the story of Yoo Jae Hoon, a theater actor who will pretend to be the grandson of a North Korean defector in order to fulfill her last wish.

Should Jung Hae In accept the offer to star in "Trees Die on Their Feet," it will be his third upcoming drama. Jung Hae In is confirmed to return for the second season of "D.P." He is also confirmed too star alongside Go Kyung Pyo and Kim Hye Joon for the upcoming series entitled, "Connect."
Recently, it was revealed that A-list actor Kang Ha Neul as well as Oscar-winnning actress Youn Yuh Jung are confirmed to star in the upcoming drama "Trees Die on Their Feet."

Kang Ha Neul will take on the role of an unknown theater actor named Yoo Jae Hoon. One day he unexpectedly received an offer to act as the grandson of a North Korean defector named Jae Geum Soon. "Minari" star and legendary actress Youn Yuh Jung will take on the role of Jae Geum Soon.

Additionally, "Thirty-Nine star Son Ye Jin is reportedly in talks to star in the upcoming KBS K-Drama. Should Son Ye Jin accept the offer, she will take on the role of Se Yeon who is the granddaughter of Geum Soon that is in charge if running Hotek Nakwon.
Filming is scheduled to begin early this year while the drama is set to premiere within the second half of 2022.
