The rumored "Metal Gear Solid 5" secret event can now be activated officially by players and fans, according to Cinema Blend.

A lot of fans have been disappointed with the ending of "The Phantom Pain" since it seemed the game was unfinished and a mission was cut out from it. Several fans have theorized this happened due to Hideo Kojima's inability to finish the game following his issue with Konami.

There was also a rumor that there was a secret ending that needed specific requirements to finish. Only a handful of people were able to accomplish this which made it a suspicious claim.

Konami has now revealed that the secret event of "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" can now be triggered officially. The problem is, for this secret event to trigger, there are several requirements to accomplish, according to Polygon. It is not a difficult to meet the requirements, but the problem is players need the cooperation of the others in their regional server.

The "Secret Nuclear Disarmament Event" needs players to remove all of the nuclear weapons in their regional server. To activate it, a player must have completed mission 31 and must not own or be developing a nuclear weapon, according to Gamespot. Everyone else on the regional server must have a total amount of nukes equivalent to zero.

"Should new nukes be developed after conditions 3 and 4 have been fulfilled, this event can be repeated by fulfilling all four conditions again," said Konami in a statement. Conditions three and four are about the regional server reaching certain conditions and the amount of nukes is zero.

The number of nuclear weapons on different servers has been reduced since the rumors of this secret event appeared, according to Game Rant. It is speculated that the number of nuclear weapons will be lesser or equal to zero since Konami has now officially announced this type of event happening in "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain."
