In a study conducted on 70 patients, it has been found that krill oil can significantly reduce dysmenorrhea as well as emotional symptoms associated with PMS. Women who are taking krill oil are found to have consumed fewer analgesics for dysmenorrhea. Furthermore, research has shown that over a 10-day treatment period krill oil is significantly more effective in managing PMS symptoms compared to fish oil.
