Actress IU Is Coming Back! ‘Celebrity’ Singer Confirmed To Star In Upcoming StudioN K-Drama ‘Money Game’
The popular Naver webtoon 'Money Game' will be made into a drama.
Naver Webtoon announced recently that it will release an 8-episode drama entitled "Money Game" that will be loosely based on a popular webtoon of the same name by Bae Jin Su.
The upcoming thriller mystery drama will be directed by "The King" director, Han Jae Rim.
Meanwhile, the OTT platform on which the drama will be released on has not yet been confirmed.

The upcoming K-Drama deals with the story of eight participants cooperating and feuding in an extreme setting where the game ends when a death occurs in a space where social infrastructure is cut off. "Money Game" will also howcase the fierce and emotional battle of the participants for the large prize money.
Ryu Joon Yeol, IU (real name Lee Ji-eun), Park Jung Min, Park Hae Joon and Bae Sung Woo have confirmed their appearances, and filming is scheduled to begin within the first half of the year.
"Money Game" will be produced by StudioN who is also behind the hit series "Sweet Home," "Our Beloved Summer," "Yumi's Cell's," and "Magnum 9." Lotte Culture Works will also participate as a co-production company for the star-studded drama.

The upcoming K-Drama "Money Game" is IU's comeback drama since her hit series "Hotel del Luna" in 2019. Aside from "Money Game," IU is also set to star alongside Park Seo Joon, Ko Chang Seok, and Lee Hyun Woo for the movie "Dream."
