BLACKPINK’s Rosé & Lisa, aespa, ONEUS, & TXT: K-Pop Artists On Genius’s ‘50 Best Songs Of 2021’!
On the 29th of December, Genius (an American digital media company) released their yearly list entitled "the year's best songs." The list notably featured all genres and was collected from their community which selected songs that were the most memorable tracks of this year.
Among the 50 songs on Genius' "50 Best Songs Of 2021," 5 K-pop songs were chosen. Notably, only songs on the top 25 came with reviews. Find out if your favorite K-pop track of this year made the list!

#45 BLACKPINK's Lisa with "LALISA"
Sitting comfortably at the 45th spot is BLACKPINK's Lisa's solo debut track "LALISA" made the list at No. 45. It comes to no one's surprise as Lisa's solo debut was one of the most highly-anticipated of this year.
#22 TXT with "0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You)"
HYBE's very own TXT placed 22nd as their song "0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You)" was described as a powerful anthem. TXT's song also showcases the boy group's impressive vocals.
#17 ONEUS with "LUNA"
ONEUS's "LUNA" was able to take the 17th place. Genius expressed that "LUNA" is a traditional Korean song with a disco and city-pop vibe. ONCEUS's "LUNA" really showed how talented the artists are, as it was slated as a Korean hot-pot of beats and rhythm.
#12 aespa with "Next Level"
SM Entertainment's "monster rookies" did not miss out on the list as aespa placed 12th with their hit track "Next Level." The track was truly taken to a 'next level' as aespa's Karina, Giselle, Winter, and NingNing, slayed with their song.
#8 BLACKPINK's Rosé's with "GONE"
The highest-ranking K-pop artist on Genius's list is BLACKPINK's Rosé with her B-side "GONE." Genius praised the BLACKPINK vocalist for her immensely impressive vocals and her acting skills on the MV of the song.
