‘Sweet Home’ Star Park Gyu Young Joins Lee Chung Ah, And CNBLUE’s Kang Minhyuk In Netflix’s ‘Celebrity’
Actress Park Gyu Young is confirmed to star in an upcoming Netflix original series.
The "Sweet Home" actress is reportedly working alongside Lee Chung Ah and Jeon Hyo Sung for the mystery drama "Celebrity," which will be produced by Netflix.
The upcoming Netflix original series, "Celebrity," will revolve around the story of SNS influencers living their life as celebrities. "Flower of Evil" director Kim Chul Gyu and "Splendid Politics" writer Kim Yi Young will be working on the Netflix series "Celebrity."
Moreover, reports claim that the upcoming Netflix mystery series will have a total of 12 episodes and is expected to premiere in the second half of 2022.
Production for the drama "Celebrity" reportedly began earlier this December.
According to reports, Park Gyu Young will take on the role of Seo Ah Ri, who came from a wealthy family. Blessed with a gorgeous face and great educational background, Seo Ah Ri seems to have it all. However, an incident turned her life upside down.
The upcoming series, "Celebrity," will be Park Gyu Young's second project under Netflix. The actress previously starred in the hit Netflix original series "Sweet Home." Park Gyu Young is also reportedly returning for the second season of "Sweet Home."
Meanwhile, "V.I.P" actress Lee Chung Ah is cast to take on the role of Yoon Shi Hyun, who, just like Seo Ah Ri, was born from a wealthy family. Despite growing up in a rich household, Yoon Shi Hyun is never apathetic to everyone, even to those coming from humble backgrounds.
CNBLUE's Kang Minhyuk is also leading the upcoming Netflix series as Han Joon Kyung.
Joining the cast is SECRET member Jeon Hyo Sung. She will take on the role of a lawyer who is also an influencer.
