Rain And Kim Bum’s Drama ‘The Ghost Doctor” Confirms Premiere Date!
tvN has confirmed the premiere date of Rain and Kim Bum's upcoming drama "The Ghost Doctor."
The drama starring Rain and Kim Bum will be one of the first dramas lined up for tvN in 2022.
The upcoming tvN drama is scheduled to premiere on the 3rd of January next year, after the ongoing drama "Secret Royal Inspector & Joy" ends.
The cast lineup of "The Ghost Doctor" includes Rain, Kim Bum, APINK's Son Na Eun, and After School's UEE.
"The Ghost Doctor" is directed by Boo Sung Chul, who is also behind popular dramas like "The Heirs" and "My Girlfriend Is a Gumiho." Meanwhile, the drama is written by Kim Eun Hee, who has penned dramas such as "Live Up to Your Name" and "Winter Sonata."
The upcoming tvN series, "The Ghost Doctor," is a medical fantasy series that will showcase the journey of two doctors with having polar personalities and different skill sets. The two doctors end up sharing spirits and bodies after a confusing possession.
Joining Rain and Kim Bum in the drama "The Ghost Doctor" are Seo Ji Young, Sung Dong Il, Yoon Da Kyung, and Son Seung Taek.
Rain will take on the role of Cha Young Min, a genius doctor. He is a thoracic surgeon, known for having a golden hand, who saves lives. "The Ghost Doctor" will be Rain's comeback to the small screen after three years.
On the other hand, Kim Bum will portray the role of Ko Seung Tak, a doctor from a rich family. Ko Seung Tak is a resident doctor who lacks manners and senses. The upcoming tvN drama will be the first drama of the actor in 2022. Kim Bum is also slated to star in the "Tale of the Nine-Tailed Season 2" next year.

Meanwhile, APINK's Son Na Eun will play the character of Oh Soo Jung. She is an emergency room intern. Although Oh Soo Jung works in the field of medicine, she is a firm believer in supernatural phenomena and miracles.
Lastly, After School's UEE is cast to play the role of Jang Se Jin. She is an overseas neurosurgeon and the ex-girlfriend of Cha Young Min.
