IZ*ONE’s Wonyoung & Yujin Re-Debuting? Starship Entertainment Launches New Girl Group, IVE!
Are you ready, netizens? Starship Entertainment is currently preparing for the debut of their new girl group, IVE!
Starship Entertainment has gone on to announce that IVE, their new girl group containing 6-members, will be making their debut before the year ends.
To add more hype, the label explained that IVE is short for "I HAVE", alluding to the K-pop group's expected elite visuals. Moreover, Starship Entertainment is planning to establish the girl group's brand identity before their debut, having a building block for success.
On the 1st of November, Starship Entertainment recently revealed the official social media accounts named 'IVE', which is supposedly the name of their new girl group. Furthermore, the label also revealed a logo animation for IVE.
Previously in August, Starship Entertainment announced that they were gearing up to launch a new girl group in the second half of 2021 which made fans excited as former members of IZ*ONE were rumored to join to the delight of WIZ*ONEs.
Officially, IVE will be Starship's first K-pop group since debuting CRAVITY in April of 2020 and their first K-pop girl group since WJSN (aka Cosmic Girls) in February of 2016.
It has been teased that the girl group will have impressive visuals and amazing talent to boot. Former members of IZ*ONE Jang Wonyoung and Ahn Yujin are supposedly making their debut with IVE, alongside Lami, a popular former SM Entertainment trainee.
But as of writing this article, Starship Entertainment has not confirmed if whether or not former IZ*ONE members Jang Wonyoung and An Yujin will be part of IVE's lineup. If confirmed, the girl group will already have established members that can bring in more fans.
