To the delight of BLINKs (the fandom name of BLACKPINK), BLACKPINK's maknae and main dancer Lisa's hip hop song entitled "MONEY" is reaching new heights not just in Korea but all over the world due to this catchy beat and hip dance moves!
As of writing this article, yesterday on the 18th of October, YG Entertainment announced that BLACKPINK Lisa's "MONEY" has gone on to surpass 100 million streams on Spotify!
This amazing achievement was reached in just 37 days since the song was first released on the 10th of September! This makes "MONEY" the fastest song by a K-pop solo artist to get 100 million Spotify streams.
The previous record was set by fellow BLACKPINK member Rosé with her solo debut title track entitled "On The Ground" taking 71 days!
BLACKPINK Lisa's "MONEY" is getting more popular with each day that passes and it even sky-rocketed from the 81st spot last week to 59th spot this week on the UK's Official Singles Chart.
Furthermore, BLACKPINK Lisa's "MONEY" has gone on to top iTunes Top Songs charts in 38 regions all over the world! The global success of the members of BLACKPINK is truly evident as each release sets newer and newer records for solo K-pop artists!
