BLACKPINK's Lisa broke the stratosphere in terms of solo success as she previously broke two Guinness World Records with her solo debut to the delight of BLINKs (the fandom name of BLACKPINK)!
On the 8th of October local time, Guinness World Records announced that they had officially recognized and set two world records that were recently broken by BLACKPINK's Lisa with her solo debut track entitled "LALISA."
BLACKPINK Lisa's "LALISA" was previously noted by YouTube to have broken the record for the most-viewed YouTube music video by a solo artist within 24 hours. The MV for Lisa's "LALISA" garnered an amazing 73.6 million hits just 24 hours after its upload.
Additionally, BLACKPINK's Lisa overcame the previous record of 65.2 million views set by Taylor Swift's 2019 hit, "ME!" which featured Brendon Urie of Panic! at the Disco.
Furthermore, BLACKPINK Lisa's "LALISA" also went on to set a new record for the most-viewed YouTube music video within 24 hours by a solo K-pop artist.
BLACKPINK's Lisa was able to beat the previous record of 41.6 million views set by fellow BLACKPINK member Rosé with her solo debut track "On The Ground."
The solo career debut of BLACKPINK's Lisa was truly something fans will not forget.
But it seems as though that the Thai idol is planning on adding more notoriety to her solo career as she might be dropping a collaboration with a popular western female rapper and a famous producer and DJ!
As of writing this article, yesterday, on the 13th of October, DJ Snake went on to post a teaser on his official Instagram account which showed a preview of an upcoming collaboration with the DJ, Ozuna, Megan Thee Stallion, and BLACKPINK's Lisa!
