A K-pop idol must do everything they can to reach perfection and the NCT 127 member is not an exception as Taeyong powered through severe pain whenever he did a specific dance step.

Among all the dance choreographies of SM Entertainment's NCT 127, there was one specific dance step that turned out to be more dangerous than it actually looked. Even more so for the member who commonly did the dance move, NCT 127's leader Taeyong.

In NCT 127's interview with MMTG, the program's host Jae Jae brought up their immensely popular song "Cherry Bomb" and the dance move where half the NCT 127's members lean back like a scene out of the popular movie "The Matrix."

Notably, NCT 127's Taeyong revealed that he believed that the move was "quite dynamic," NCT 127's Yuta revealed his concern explaining that he was always worried about the other members.

NCT 127's Jaehyun clarified what Yuta meant, revealing that Yuta was worried because the NCT 127 members always had a mic pack.

To confirm that the members were right to be worried, Taeyong recalled a moment where the move caused him a painful injury. Taeyong noted, "I was doing that, and my mic pack poked right at my spine."

Hearing this, Yuta recalled the incident noting that it gave him so much back pain. This was even more dangerous for Taeyong because he has had back pain on and off since before their debut and due to the move, the pain hit deeper.

But as per NCT 127's Johnny, like the resolve of a true K-pop artist, "No pain, no gain."

Since then, the members of NCT 127 have found the best way to execute the move without injuring themselves, which brings relief to NCTzens, the fandom name of NCT, and its sub-units.
