Park Hyung Sik Is Returning To The Small Screen This Year With New Drama ‘Happiness’
Park Hyung Sik's comeback drama "Happiness" is confirmed to air this year.
Recently, photos from the first script reading of the upcoming tvN drama "Happiness" were released increasing anticipation. The script reading features the main cast members of "happiness" including Park Hyung Sik, Han Hyo Joo, and Jo Woo Jin. Additionally, actors Lee Joon Hyuk, Park Joo Hee, Baek Hyun Jin, Park Hyung Soo, Bae Hae Seon, and Cha Soon Bae also joined in the script reading.
"Happiness" is reportedly an urban thriller drama directed by "Record of Youth" director Ahn Gil Ho. The drama is written by "The Good Wife" writer Han Sang Woon and will be released on tvN under Studio Dragon.
"Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" star Park Hyung Sik's upcoming drama "Happiness" is set in a time where infectious diseases are widespread. The story will revolve around the residents of an apartment who became isolated when a devastating infectious disease emerged. For the drama, Park Hyung Sik will take on the role of Jung Yi Hyun who is an honest and clever detective from the violent crimes division. He was once a promising baseball player but he decided to leave the sport after suffering from a knee injury.
Starring alongside Park Hyung Sik is "W" actress Han Hyo Joo. The 34-year-old actress will portray the role of Yoon Sae Bom a woman who puts things into action as soon as he puts her mind into it. She grew up in an unhappy childhood making her a character with a pent-up grudge inside her.
Completing the main ensemble for "Happiness" is "Mr. Sunshine" actor Jo Woo Jin. He will be playing the role of Han Tae Seok who is a part of the Armed Forces Medical Command. Jo Woo Jin's Han Tae Seok holds the key to solving the epidemic.
"Happiness" is scheduled to air on November 5.
