NCT & WayV’s Lucas Not Returning To China +Chinese WayV Promotions Not To Push Through
Just previously, NCT and WayV's Lucas was embroiled in a dating and gaslighting scandal that was posted by a Twitter user.
NCTzens (the fandom name of NCT and its sub-units) went on to defend their K-pop idol, but as per previous reports, it seems as though the allegations could have been true.
On the 25th of August, NCT and WayV Lucas went on to post a handwritten letter of apology in Chinese on his personal Instagram. In his post, the caption contained a translation of what he said in the apology letter into Korean.
Furthermore, Lucas explained that he was able to garner help from his acquaintances in making the translation. Not long after Lucas' post was uploaded, his agency, SM Entertainment, went on to release an announcement regarding Lucas' future with the company and both NCT and WayV.
On the same day on the 25th of August, SM Entertainment went on to drop a statement. The Korean Entertainment agency went on to announce that WayV's Lucas would be halting his activities to do some reflection for his actions.
But it seems as though the original plan was not able to push through as recent reports have surfaced regarding the cancellation of Lucas' trip to China.
As per reports, it has been confirmed that WayV's Lucas has canceled his plans to go to China and leave Korea. Lucas was supposed to make his way to Shanghai on the 10th of September at 1:55 PM KST for solo activities but has gone on to cancel his flight.
To add to this, WayV was also slated to go to China for promotions this October, but similarly, these plans have been halted too. Plans on when WayV will go back to China have not been released.
