Fans Hyped As ‘How I Met Your Father’ Adds Josh Peck To Its Cast
Former "Drake and Josh" star, Josh Peck, has recently been added to the cast of the "How I Met Your Mother" (HIMYM) spinoff, "How I Met Your Father" (HIMYF). The show is slated to be released on HULU and fans of HIMYM are hyped for HIMYF!
HIMYF revolves around the story of Sophie, played by Hillary Duff, as she tells her son the story of how she met his father when she was young, trying to search for the love of her life and having adventures with her group of friends.
The characters in HIMYF exist in the same universe as the characters from HIMYM, but they will not be directly connected to one another.
Notably, HULU has not announced the premiere date of HIMYF, the cast of the show has been slowly coming together as it has confirmed Hillary Duff, Chris Lowell, Suraj Sharma, Francia Raisa, Tom Ainsley, and Tien Tran as the cast so far.
As per reports from TV Line, Josh Peck is the most recent addition to the cast of "How I Met Your Father." Josh Peck has been cast as Drew, the handsome Vice Principal in an elementary school.
Moreover, Ashley Reyes has also been added to the cast of HIMYF and she will be playing Hannah, a surgical resident that is in a long-distance relationship with one of the friends of Sophie.
Both Josh Peck and Ashley Reyes will have recurring roles in "How I Met Your Father." Notably, Craig Thomas and Carter Bays are going to be executive producers for HIMYF. Although the two are creators of HIMYM, the spinoff will not be a continuation of HIMYM.
Although there will still be some references to the original characters and even possible guest appearances from characters from HIMYM.
