A New Superman In The Horizon? Michael B. Jordan Reportedly On The Move
Are you ready for a new Superman?
Michael B. Jordan is reported to have started the early stages of development for a new Superman series for HBO Max. Jordan's Superman will not be Clark Kent but a black Superman from Earth 2, Val-Zod.
Notably, it seems that Henry Cavill's Kal-El (Superman) is no longer going to be a part of DC's roster. Thus, J.J. Abrams is rumored to be reinventing Superman but with a new character entirely.
Perhaps the idea of shifting the character of Superman revealed what Warner Bros and DC should be doing on their own. Understandably, most people enjoy Clark Kent being Superman as he has been a staple but that does not mean Michael B. Jordan's Superman will not be liked.
So a newcasting might be best for the superhero. Enter, Michael B. Jordan.
The rumors have been circulating just recently and J.J. Abrams and Warner Bros seem to be keen on the thought. Thus, this led fans to voice out that Michael B. Jordan would be perfect playing the next Superman.
He's discussed Superman projects with WB and DC in the past, but now it appears he is making his own.
As per reports that have surfaced, Outlier Society, Michael B. Jordan's production company is currently developing for HBO Max a new Superman Project. Rumors further suggest that a script has already begun being made for the Val-Zod version of Superman.
No confirmation has been released yet by the director, the studio, and the actor but fans seem to be happy seeing Michael B. Jordan attached to the supposed new Superman.
Unfortunately, Michael B. Jordan is currently busy with projects that were announced for him prior, thus lessening the chance of him playing the new Superman.
