One of the most popular names in the K-pop and Korean acting industry, Bae Suzy, is making a comeback on the small screen, causing her fans and netizens to lose their minds!
Bae Su Ji, more popularly known as Bae Suzy, started her career as an online shopping model. She was soon spotted and discovered while auditioning for a TV talent show called "Superstar K." Following this, Suzy was asked to be a part of JYP Entertainment.
After this, Bae Suzy made her debut with Miss A under JYP Entertainment. Suzy was the vocalist, rapper, visual, face, and maknae of JYP Entertainment's Miss A.
Her contract expired with JYP Entertainment in 2019 and then she signed with Management SOOP.
As mentioned above, aside from being known for her skills on the stage, Bae Suzy is also an immensely popular Korean actress and due to this, netizens and fans have been longing for her to make her acting return.
Notably, it seems fans and netizens no longer need to wait that long as Suzy has been reportedly slated to make her K-Drama return in Coupang Play's original series entitled "The Second Anna."
As per reports from Korean news outlets, Bae Suzy will be making her K-Drama return in Coupang Play's original series called "The Second Anna." The K-Drama "The Second Anna" was slated supposedly to be a film but is now rearranged as a series spanning 8 episodes.
The story for "The Second Anna" will surely be fascinating and tantalizing and Bae Suzy will surely be able to flex her acting chops in the coming K-Drama. It has been confirmed that Bae Suzy accepted the K-Drama as her return because of the success of tvN's K-Drama "Startup."
"The Second Anna" is going to be directed by Lee Ju Young.
Notably, the K-Drama will begin filming this year! Details on other cast members still have not been released yet.
