After 5 Years, Actor Son Ho Jun Parts Ways With YG Entertainment

Personal fans of Son Ho Jun woke up to a surprise as an announcement from the singer and actors' agency was released.

After 5 long years with the entertainment agency, Son Ho Jun decidedly went on to go his separate ways with YG Entertainment.

As of writing this article, yesterday on the 10th of June, YG Entertainment released the following statement with regards to Son Ho Jun's status with the agency:

"Hi. This is YG Entertainment.

Initially, we would like to express our gratitude to the fans who cherish and support actor Son Ho Jun.

We would like to inform you that our exclusive contract with Son Ho Jung will be expiring in late June. We will respect the decision that was made after a long, careful discussion, and we have decided to support each other's futures.

While he was signed exclusively with YG Entertainment since 2016, he promoted in various fields and was well-loved by fans and netizens as a likable actor by appearing in dramas such as "Blow Breeze," "Go Back Couple, "My Secret Terrius," "Radiant," and "Was It Love?"; the film "A Diamond in the Rough"; and variety shows such as "Coffee Friends" and "Three Meals A Day: Fishing Village."

Although our management duties for the actor end here, we would like to thank Son Ho Jun for promoting well as an artist under YG Entertainment for a long time. We will remember our memories together for a long time and hope that Son Ho Jun's future is filled with blessings.

The agency and actor seem to have no animosity towards each other, as per the statement from YG Entertainment.

To add to that, Think Entertainment is the agency that was reported to be most likely signing Son Ho Jun, but nothing has been set in stone yet.
