M.C The MAX Leader J.Yoon Passes Away
The South Korean music industry received the sad news of M.C The MAX Leader J.Yoon's sudden passing.
On May 13, the police found M.C The MAX J.Yoon dead at his home in Seogyodong, Mapogu, Seoul after his agency reported that they were unable to contact him. Furthermore, the police reported that there is no will found at the site and there are no suspicions of killings so far. The police also explained that they are still investigating the death.
With the sudden news, M.C The MAX agency 325 E&C issued an official statement regarding the sad news and expressed their condolences especially to the family and fans of J.Yoon. In their official statement, 325 E&C said that all of the members of M.C The MAX as well as the executives and staff of the agency are mourning the deceased singer in great grief. The agency also asked the media to refrain from writing speculative articles with respect to the grieving family.
"Please pray for the deceased, so that J.Yoon can rest comfortably. We sincerely ask you [the media] to refrain from making speculative articles for the surviving family members of the late singer," 325 E&C stated.
J.Yoon whose real name is Yoon Jae Woong is the leader, bass guitarist, and violinist of the Korean rock band M.C The MAX (an acronym for Moon Child the MAXimum). He debuted in 2000 along with three other members including Lee Soo, Jeon Min Hyuk, and Heo Jung Min, with the latter leaving the band in 2001. The 40-year-old singer commemorated the 20th year of M.C The MAX by releasing the album "CEREMONIA" on March 25 of this year together with two of his remaining bandmates.
