‘Snowdrop’ Actor Jung Hae In Renews Contract With FNC Entertainment
"Snowdrop" actor and BLACKPINK Jisoo's leading man, Jung Hae In has renewed his contract with FNC Entertainment.
On May 11, FNC Entertainment confirmed that the 33-year-old actor once again renewed his contract with the agency for the second time. Jung Hae In is the first actor to train and debut from FNC Entertainment. He first renewed his contact with the agency in 2018.
Jung Hae In first appeared in the drama "Bride of the Century" in 2014. Since then, Jung Hae In played some minor roles and cameos in dramas such as "Blood (2015)," "Reply 1988 (2016)," and "Goblin: The Lonely and Great God." The actor first got the attention of the public after appearing as Han Woo Tak in "While You Were Sleeping (2018)." There he swooned K-drama fans being the lovable second-lead in the Suzy x Lee Jong Suk pairing.
After the success of his appearance in "While You Were Sleeping," Jung Hae then played the role of Captain Yoo in "Prison Playbook (2018)."
In 2018, Jung Hae In got his big break after starring in "Something in the Rain" alongside A-list actress Son Ye Jin. Jung Hae In portrayed the role of Seo Joon Hae, who becomes the love interest of Son Ye Jin's Yoo Jin A. The two fall in love despite their age.
For his role in "Something in the Rain," Jung Hae In won the "Most Popular Actor" award in the 54th Baeksang Arts Awards in 2018. He has also won the "Best Actor" award in the 2019 MBC Drama Awards.
Currently, Jung Hae In is shooting his upcoming drama, "Snowdrop," alongside BLACKPINK Jisoo. He will be playing the role of Soo Ho, a Korean-German graduate student who is both charismatic and mysterious. Jung Hae In's Soo Ho will meet Jisoo's Eun Young Cho on a blind date.
"Snowdrop" is expected to be released in the second half of this year despite some controversies thrown because of its plot.
