Recently, news broke out that Spotify's license to distribute music from artists under Kakao M expired. Therefore, songs from hundreds of K-Pop artists were sadly removed from the platform, including those hits from IU, Zico, Dreamcatcher, Epik High, Hwasa, and many others.
Despite this, here are the most streamed 2021 K-Pop songs on Spotify so far.
#5 "I'm Missing You" by Sunjae with 6.55 million streams
"I'm Missing You" is the Official SoundTrack (OST) of the recently concluded k-drama "True Beauty" starring Moon Gayoung, ASTRO's Cha Eunwoo, and Hwang In Yeop.
#4 "My Treasure" by TREASURE with 7.97 million streams
"My Treasure" is the lead track of the band TREASURE's first studio album "The First Step: Treasure Effect." Currently, the official MV for the YG Entertainment boy group's track boasts more than 24.7 million views on YouTube.
#3 "I'm Not Cool" by HyunA with 11.5 million streams
