BLACKPINK Previews 'Never-Before-Seen' Digital Stage Of 'The Show' On January 31st
BLACKPINK said they always wanted to surprise the BLINKs and everyone who will be watching their "BLACKPINK: The Show" this January 31st. Yet, even they could not help but reveal what the viewers can see at their live stream concert.
There will be a high-tech digital stage that fans have never seen before, at least that was what they told Metro.co.uk.
"When it comes to 'online performance,' we think that many people might be curious about what new digital technologies will be added to our stage," BLACKPINK said. "Although we are exploring new technologies, we wanted to focus more on the essential attributes and value of the live performance."
They also further said how they want to "deliver the best immersive experience" for the fans. The K-Pop group will perform on large-scale sets and special stages that are difficult to execute if these sets will be on their world tour.
"We would like to emphasize that the ability to share our music with our fans at the same time during this difficult time is what makes [the] virtual concert special," BLACKPINK said.
Aside from the solo performance of Rosé, their set list will also be composed of 15 to 20 songs, but nothing is set in stone yet. Lisa tells Rolling Stone that it changes all the time. Yet, Jisoo has confirmed all eight songs from The Album will be sung. Jennie is also excited to perform "Pretty Savage" because it is one of the songs she is looking forward "to see as a big production."
Recently, BLACKPINK also made an appearance Wednesday night on "The Late Late Show With James Corden" to promote the upcoming show and give a sneak peek of its features. The late-night talk show also previously guested K-Pop acts such as BTS, NCT ad SEVENTEEN.
"BLACKPINK: The Show" will be available to selected viewers who will purchase their tickers on YouTube.
