BLACKPINK Jennie And Oh My Girl Arin Leads January Girl Group Member Brand Ranking

The Korean Business Research Institute revealed the hottest girl group member for the month of January 2021.

For this month, the research institute extracted 91,339,797 brand data of 535 K-Pop girl group members from December 17, 2020, to January 17, 2021. To calculate the overall brand reputation index, the Korean Business Research Institute analyzes the participation index, media index, communication index, and community index.

When compared to December 2020s 90,780,154 data, this month's index increased by 0.62%.

The brand reputation index is analyzed from consumers' online habits and brand consumption. It measures and evaluates a girl group member's brand influence.

BLACKPINK Jennie once again leads the list with a brand reputation index of 2,855,331. The rapper from YG Entertainment has a participation index of 738,682, a media index of 533,276, a communication index of 855,121, and a community index of 728,252. Despite her rank, Jennie's total brand index fell by 18.91% compared to her index last December.

Following BLACKPINK Jennie on the list is Oh My Girl Arin. Based on the report from the Korean Business Research Institute, Arin has a total brand reputation index of 2,415,960 with a participation index of 923,766, a media index of 486,881, a communication index of 579,533, a community index of 425,780.

Meanwhile, Jisoo from BLACKPINK snagged third place with 2,405,932 with participation index 525,470 media index 567,462 communication index 718,082 community index 594,917.

Two (G)I-DLE members complete the top five, with Soyeon in fourth place and Yuqi in fifth. They have a total brand reputation index of 2,257,766 and 2,087,574, respectively.
