'Dragon Quest Heroes' PC Version Release Date Is Next Month; DLC 'Slime' Items Included
"Dragon Quest Heroes" PC version will be launched next month, according to VG247.
"Dragon Quest Heroes" first launched on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 a few months ago. The gameplay is similar to the "Dynasty Warriors" series but it had the elements of "Dragon Quest." The genre of the game is an action role-playing game and also Hack and slash. The game was developed by Omega Force and was published by Square Enix.
The news of the PC version of the game was leaked through a pop-ad by Steam but now it has been officially announced by Square Enix. "Dragon Quest Heroes" is coming to Steam and it will be launching on Dec. 4 which is the official release date, according to PC Gamer.
The advantage of the PC version, "Slime Edition," will have DLC items which are called Slime Weapons. The Slime Edition will also have two bonus maps as well. The slime weapons are Splat O'Nine Tails, Slime-On-A-Stick, Slime Sword, Gooreat Sword, Gungenir, Gooey Gloves, Happy Map, Goomerang, Goopid's Bow, Squishing Rod, Gold-Digger's Map, Fandangoos and Goolden Axe, according to Gematsu.
In addition, Slime Edition has a price tag of $60 but if a gamer pre-orders the game before launch, he or she can get a 10 percent discount which makes the price tag go down to $54.
The PC minimum requirements of "Dragon Quest Heroes" PC version is a bit higher with a Windows Operating System that needs to be 64-bit and the processor should be at least Core i7 870 with 2.8GHz, according to Gamespot.
In addition, the rest of the PC minimum requirements though are easy to meet up like a memory of 4 GB RAM, a graphics card comparable to NVIDIA GeForce GTS 460 or AMD Radeon HD 5770 and a player's hard drive should have at least a storage space of 20 GB.
