Fans Look Forward To Kang Daniel’s Collab With Inverness And Anthony Russo For ‘State Of Wonder’
The "State Of Mind" collaboration of Kang Daniel with up and coming EDM artist Inverness and singer-songwriter Anthony Russo is finally here, and everyone is ecstatic!
"State of Wonder'' is an electronic pop song that blends EDM and K-Pop. With its unique and addictive sound, the song expresses the euphoric feeling of falling and being in love.
"This record came together with just trying to do something fun and trying to bring people together, whether that be different regions or genres," said Kang Daniel, former Wanna One member.
Moreover, Kang Daniel added, "Because I like EDM, we have always talked about collaboration, and we were able to work on this song very naturally. I am proud to be able to add strength to good songs."
This is the first time that Kang Daniel participates in a single by an American artist. According to Inverness, it was a thrilling experience, and this release has been his most experimental so far.
Furthermore, Inverness shared that it took a village and two years of hard work and rigorous planning to produce such a banger release.
"State of Wonder has to be my favorite release yet...It's one of the craziest sonic palettes I've thrown at my fans for sure but I think they're gonna latch onto it like crazy. It took so much time to get every part of the song perfectly," Inverness shared in an interview with Bandwagon.
Despite the challenges brought about by the pandemic, the team involved were proud of the output.
"Obviously, we weren't able to travel and meet up for writing sessions, for the recording, and for the music video. We had to do everything remotely, which was a challenge and took away some of the fun of working together, but I am grateful that things came together the way they did in a time where nothing is guaranteed," shared Kang Daniel.
"Working on this song together, the whole process from start to finish was very fun, and it's an honor to work with great people," expressed Anthony Russo.
Meanwhile, the fusion track was accompanied by a music video directed by Jordan Wozy.
