Here Are The Top K-Drama Series Premieres To Anticipate This December
We're now in the last month of 2020, but there are still so many things to look forward to. While K-pop fans are waiting for the results of the year-end award shows, K-drama enthusiasts can look forward to some quality series that will premiere this month. Here are some of the K-dramas you can wait for.
"Cheat on Me if You Can" is a drama starring Cho Yeo Jeong and Go Jun already premiered on December 2 and will broadcast every Wednesday and Thursday 9:30 PM KST on KBS2. It's going to be a comical mystery thriller about a mystery novelist who loves killing her male characters and her divorce lawyer husband.
"True Beauty" will start airing on December 9 on tvN. This drama is highly anticipated given the popularity of the webtoon it is based on. It will star Moon Ga Young as the school goddess Lim Ju Gyeong, and ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo and model Hwang In Yeop as the male leads.
"Mr. Queen" is a comedy fusion saeguk starring Shin Hye Sun of "Angel's Last Mission: Love" and Kim Jung Hyun who gained popularity for his roles in "Welcome to Waikiki" most recently, in "Crash Landing on You". The story revolves around a modern-day chef whose spirit will find its way into the body of a queen in the Joseon period, played by Hye Sun. The drama will be every Saturday and Sunday at 9 PM KST on tvN, starting December 12.
Another comedy mystery drama you might want to see is "Secret Royal Inspector" starring Kim Myung Soo and Kwon Nara. Both work for the government and do undercover work to expose acts of corruption. Joining them is Lee Yi Kyung who will assist Myung Soo in his work. The drama will air on Mondays and Tuesdays at 9:30 PM KST, starting on December 21.
