MONSTA X 10th Anniversary: Concert Film, US Jingle Ball Tour, and 2026 World Tour Announced
MONSTA X is going all out for their 10th anniversary. The K-pop group debuted May 14, 2015, and they've packed the second half of 2025 with major releases and performances that show they're not slowing down.
July Concert Launches Anniversary Year
The celebrations kicked off with "2025 MONSTA X CONNECT X" at Seoul's KSPO DOME in July. The three-day concert marked the first time all six members performed together since completing military service. Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, and Joohoney have all returned from duty, with only I.M remaining to enlist.
Billboard Success with "THE X"
September brought their mini-album "THE X," which hit No. 31 on the Billboard 200. This marked a first for the group-their previous chart entries came from English albums "All About Luv" (2020) and "The Dreaming" (2021), but "THE X" became their first Korean-language release to crack the main chart.
The album also landed at No. 3 on World Albums and No. 6 on Top Album Sales, proving MONSTA X still commands attention in the US market.
Concert Film Hits Theaters
"MONSTA X: CONNECT X IN CINEMAS" premiered December 3 at CGV theaters worldwide. The film captures their July anniversary concerts with live performance footage, backstage prep, and member interviews reflecting on their decade together.
Members attended stage greetings across theaters. Hyungwon mentioned enjoying audio details in the film that were drowned out during the live show, while Jooheon encouraged fans to check out the SCREENX and 4DX formats alongside standard 2D screenings.
"baby blue" Gets International Coverage
MONSTA X released their first US single in four years with "baby blue" on November 14. The electronic R&B track earned coverage from Forbes and NME, both highlighting the group's musical evolution. It's their first American release since "The Dreaming" album in 2021.
Four-City US Jingle Ball Run
The group joined the 2025 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour for their fourth appearance since becoming the first K-pop act on the lineup in 2018. They're hitting Madison Square Garden in New York (December 12), Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia (December 15), Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. (December 16), and Kaseya Center in Miami (December 20).
2026 World Tour Kicks Off in Seoul
"2026 MONSTA X WORLD TOUR 'THE X: NEXUS'" was announced with three Seoul shows at KSPO DOME from January 30 to February 1. It's their first world tour in four years following the 2022 "NO LIMIT" tour.
However, I.M won't participate in overseas dates or the world tour. Starship Entertainment announced December 5 that he's preparing for military enlistment and continuing back rehabilitation. He'll take part in domestic schedules that don't strain his condition until he enlists.
From concert films to international festivals to a world tour, MONSTA X is closing their first decade with the kind of energy that suggests the next ten years will be just as packed.
