EXO's Chen Sings OST Of Lee Dong Wook & Yoo In Na's Upcoming K-Drama 'Touch Your Heart'
EXO member Chen's voice will be heard again in a K-drama. The singer has lend his voice for the official soundtrack of the upcoming tvN romantic comedy Touch Your Heart.
Jellyfish Entertainment, who is in-charge for the production of the OST, revealed that the first song in Lee Dong Wook and Yoo In Na's drama will drop in different music streaming sites on February 7. The song is titled, "Make it Count," and many EXO fans were able to immediately recognize Chen's voice in the Touch Your Heart teaser that was released this week.
The EXO main vocalist has done several K-drama OST in the past. He previously sang "Best Luck" for SBS' It's Okay, That's Love and "Cherry Blossom" for 100 Days My Prince which starred his bandmate D.O. He also sang "Everytime" along with Punch for Descendants of the Sun and "For You" with bandmates Baekhyun and Xiumin for the K-drama Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo.
Chen's sweet voice perfectly complements the romance between Lee and Yoo's characters in the upcoming TV series. Touch Your Heart follows the lives of a perfectionist lawyer Kwon Jung Rok (Lee Dong Wook) and Korea's top actress Oh Yoon Seo (Yoo In Na).
Yoon Seo gets involved in a scandal with a third generation chaebol. To be able to revive her career, she plans to make a comeback in a high-profile K-drama where she needs to play the role of a secretary. To gain experience for the role, Yoo Seo assumes a different identity so she can work as a secretary for Jung Rok in a law firm.
Touch Your Heart is set to premiere on February 6 at 9:30 pm. KST on tvN. It will be taking the Wednesday-Thursday time slot that was previously occupied by Encounter.
Meanwhile, Chen and the seven other members of EXO currently star in the second season of Travel The World on EXO's Ladder. The reality show, which premiered on January 21, was filmed in Taiwan where the members spend a fun holiday and play the ladder game. Travel The World on EXO's Ladder Season 2 airs from Monday thru Friday at 6 PM KST via video platform oksusu and Taiwanese mobile TV platform TrueID.
EXO-Ls are still waiting for official announcement from SM Entertainment about the band's concert tour. EXO fans are expecting to see their favorite K-pop group on stage again to promote their latest album Don't Mess Up My Tempo which was released in November 2018.
The album is currently at the No. 5 spot in Billboard's World Albums chart. It debuted at No. 23 on the Billboard 200 and No. 1 on the World Albums Chart. It is the band's highest charting album on the Billboard 200 and fourth number one album on the World Albums Chart.
