SHINee member Taemin will be making his solo comeback next month. The K-pop idol is currently preparing the release of his second mini album and Shawols can wait any longer to hear Taemin's new songs.

SM Entertainment has confirmed that Lee Tae Min, better known as Taemin, would be making his long-awaited solo comeback on February 11. He will be releasing his mini-album, titled Want, along with its title track of the same name.

"Taemin decided to make a comeback in February and we are preparing for it. We are currently working hard on the album to deliver perfection to the fans. Please look forward to it," SM Entertainment stated (via Hello Kpop).

Taemin has also released the first teasers for his solo comeback. He shared two new teaser images. Apparently, "Want" is an upgraded version of the powerful and sexy charm he has shown in his performances of his solo title track "Move" in 2017.

The Want album consists of seven tracks and will be available on online music sites starting on February 11 at 6 p.m. KST. Fans are also expecting that Taemin will announce new tour dates following the release of his new EP.

Taemin debut as a solo performer in 2014 when he released first solo extended play, titled Ace, and its lead track "Danger." Two years later, he released his first Korean studio album Press It.

It was followed by Japanese mini-albums, Sayonara Hitori and Flame of Love, in 2016 and 2017, respectively. Taemin then dropped his second studio album, Move, in October 2017 and the repackaged album Move-ing two months later.

Taemin and his SHINee bandmates had a busy 2018. The band released their three-part Korean album, titled The Story of Light, in May and June. Then in September, SHINee dropped their sixth album repackage, The Story of Light-Epilogue.

Aside from group promotions, Taemin also unveiled his first Japanese studio album, titled Taemin, in November 2018. He also had his solo tour in Japan, called TAEMIN Japan 1st Tour SIRIUS, from September to November 2018. He performed in 26 tour dates in 14 cities of the country.

Taemin is the youngest among the SHINee members. The 25-year-old singer will be the only one left active in the band once bandmates Key and Minho start with their military enlistment this year. Onew already began his military service in December 2018.
