K-pop group iKON has dropped the concept teaser video for their much-awaited repackaged New Kids album. The clip was shared on iKON's official YouTube account on January 2, ahead of the official released of the album on January 7.

In the teaser, each member of the band shows off their charisma while the snippet of the album's title track, "IM OK," is being played in the background. The seven members are seen taking the screen one after the other from what seems to be a photo shoot.

The upcoming album, New Kids Repackage, will be out on January 7 at 6 p.m. KST, a day after the group's encore concert on January 6. The physical copies of New Kids, on the other hand, to be available starting on January 8.

The repackaged album will wrap up the New Kids series of the group that started in May 2017 with New Kids: Begin. The series also includes the New Kids: Return album which was released in early 2018. It featured the megahit title track "Love Scenario."

Aside from dominating the music charts for over a month, "Love Scenario" also created what is now called the "Love Scenario syndrome." The popularity of the some was so intense that made some teachers in South Korea to prohibit their kindergarten and elementary school students from singing the iKON hit single in the classrooms.

The song peaked at No. 1 on numerous digital platforms. It also made iKON the second K-pop group to achieved the top spot on more than seven music charts since iChart began ranking songs in 2010. BIGBANG is the first group to achieve such a feat.

Moreover, the song has been nominated for Song Of The Year in several year-end awards show and won the title at the 2018 Melon Music Awards. iKON leader B.I. also won the award for Songwriter of The Year at MMA. "Love Scenario" also took home the Rap/Hip Hop Music Award from the 1st MBC Plus X Genie Music Awards.

The YG Entertainment K-pop group also won the Best Musician award along with Zico at the Asia Artist Awards. They also took home the Best Vocal Performance Group at the 2018 Mnet Asia Music Awards.

Overall, iKON had a successful 2018 and about to kick off 2019 with a bang with their iKON CONTINUE Encore In Seoul Tour concert and a new album. The iKON's concert in Seoul will also conclude the group's first world tour which started in the same city in August.
