EXO's Kai & BLACKPINK's Jennie Dating: Photos Of The Idols' Together Shared Online; Fans Are Freaking Out
EXO member Kai and BLACKPINK's Jennie have been rumored to be dating after several photos of them together were shared online. This makes fans of both idols freak out and excited of their favorite K-pop artists.
Soompi cited an article released by local news tabloid Dispatch on New Year's Day about Kai and Jennie which also features several photos of the two together. According to the publication, the snaps were taken when the two were enjoying a late-night date at a park in Seoul on November 25.
Apparently, the EXO singer picked up Jennie from her dorm. They spent some time together at the park while holding hands and taking photos.
Dispatch added that the two also went out on a date in Paris in October although they were attended different fashion shows for Fashion Week. Kai attended the Gucci show while Jennie was at the Chanel show. There were also reports that Kai visited Jennie on December 2 after his Hawaii trip.
Kai's group EXO is under SM Entertainment while BLACKPINK is from YG Entertainment. Both labels have yet to issue an official statement on whether or not their talents are indeed dating. Moreover, the media outlet stated that Jennie's earlier dating scandal with YG Entertainment head producer Yang Hyun Suk in October is not true because she is already dating Kai at the time.
Meanwhile, fans have shared their thoughts about the dating rumor between Kai and Jennie. Many support the two if the rumors that they are dating are true. They pointed out that as long as Kai and Jennie are happy, they will cheer for them.
"Those two would be such a gorgeous couple! Honestly as long as they are both happy and their companies treat them well regardless it's okay. Love you both! ️," one wrote.
Some, however, expressed concern that they may end up like Triple H members HyunA and E'Dawn. Their label, Cube Entertainment, has announced HyunA's contract has been "terminated" after it was revealed that she and bandmate E'Dawn have been dating for two years now. Many K-pop idols are not allowed to be in a romantic relationship while under contract.
"If it is true I will support them no matter whatand I hope they don't get kicked out of their company's like Hyuna and Edawn️," another fan wrote.
Meanwhile, EXO's Kai will appear on survival program Under 19. He will give advice to aspiring singers about performing on stage and mentoring the young contestants who are dreaming of becoming idols. Under 19 airs every Saturday at 6:25 p.m. KST on MBC.
