The Big Bang Theory actress Kaley Cuoco can no longer hide her excitement for the upcoming Harley Quinn animated series. The sitcom star will be voicing the DC universe heroine in the series.

In her recent post on Instagram, Cuoco revealed how excited she is working on the project. She also shared a reel from the DC Universe, which teased some of the previously shown footages of Harley Quinn as well as other upcoming DC Universe shows. Cuoco's animated character appeared in the middle part of the action sequences that feature other DC shows and films such as Titans, Krypton, and Batman Returns.

"Working on Harley Quinn has been an insane blast, we can't wait for you to see it! It's all coming at you in 2019... #adulthumor," the recently married actress wrote.

DC and Warner Bros. Animation first revealed about the Harley Quinn animated series when they dropped a teaser during the New York Comic Con 2018 in October. The company also revealed that Cuoco will voice the animated version of the Gotham's criminal queenpin for the DC Universe streaming service.

The upcoming adult animated comedy series follows the adventure of Joker's psychotic ex-girlfriend and his crew of DC castoffs. Harley will try to earn a seat on the Legion of Doom, which means she will likely work alongside the other villains in the DC Universe.

The voice cast members of Harley Quinn also include Lake Bell, Alan Tudyk, Ron Funches, JB Smoove, Jason Alexander, Wanda Sykes, Giancarlo Esposito, Natalie Morales, Jim Rash, Diedrich Bader, Tony Hale, and Chris Meloni. iZombie actor Rahul Kohli has been cast as well to voice Scarecrow.

Bell will voice Harley's her best friend, Poison Ivy while Bader lends his voice for Bruce Wayne/Batman. Tudyk plays the role of Joker and Law & Order: SVU alum Meloni is Commissioner James Gordon of Gotham City.

Aside from lending her voice, Cuoco will also serve as executive producer for the animated series through her production company Yes, Norman Productions. The Harley Quinn animated series is scheduled to premiere in October 2019, about five months after Cuoco's The Big Bang Theory air it series finale in May.

This is not the first time for Kaley Cuoco to voice a computer live action or computer animated character. She had voiced Eleanor, a member of the Chipettes, in the 2015 movie  Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip.
