EXO Drops Preview Of Repackaged Album
EXO has finally released a preview of their upcoming repackaged album after dropping hints a few days ago. The new album is titled Love Shot and will be available in less than a week from now.
Apart from the original 11 tracks of EXO's fifth LP, Don't Mess Up My Tempo, the new album will also include four new songs. The new tracks are titled "Love Shot," "Trauma," "Wait," and the Chinese version of "Love Shot."
There will be two cover versions of the album: the Love and the Shot versions. The Love edition has the group's new logo at the album jacket while the Shot version has the group photo cover.
EXO earlier shared on its official website and social media accounts their new logo which is in the shape of a diamond. The clip of the new logo features the K-pop group's name in a sparkling diamond. The group also shared their new group photo in black and white. It features all members except for Lay.
The Love Shot album will drop on December 13 at 6 p.m. KST. Pre-orders for will begin on December 3.
EX released Don't Mess Up My Tempo a month ago. The album topped the iTunes' albums chart in 47 countries. It also debuted at No. 23 on the Billboard 200, making it the band's highest-charting entry ever. EXO first entered the Billboard 200 in 2015 with EXOdus landing at No. 95. Last year, the group's The War: The 4th Album landed at No. 87.
Don't Mess Up My Tempo also marks the return of Lay in the group. He was seen in both the Chinese and Korean music videos of the album's title track "Tempo." However, his vocals are only featured on the Chinese version of the song.
Meanwhile, EXO has been chosen as one of the top K-pop groups in Tumblr this year. The SM Entertainment artists took the second spot, next to BTS, in the Tumblr's annual list of top 30 K-pop acts. Three members of EXO-Baekhyun, Chanyeol and Kai-also landed in the Top 10 most popular K-pop artists in the same micro-blogging site.
