'NCIS' Season 16 Episode 9 Spoilers: Team To Tail Female Ex-Con To Solve High-Profile Robbery Case
The NCIS team will investigate another cold case in Season 16 Episode 9. The agents will tail a lead suspect in an unsolved and high-profile robbery case.
The suspect, named Angie, is released from prison. The team will do stakeouts to learn new information from her. The team is following her possibly on a hunch that she may reach out to her old robbery team again.
It is presumed that Agent Nick Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) may not volunteer to do the stakeout. It can be recalled that Torres had said in the past that he doesn't like stakeout as he is a "man of action."
However, based on the promo photos for the upcoming Episode 9, it looks like Torres will step out of his comfort zone and join Bishop (Emily Wickersham) in tailing Angie. Agent Jack Sloan (Maria Belo) is also seen using her charm and tactics as a psychologist to befriend Angie. It seems like Agent McGee (Sean Murray) is also backing her up from a distance.
Will the team about to get new information from Angie? Is she really involved in the robbery?
Gibbs' (Markk Harmon) agents have proven in the previous episode that they could solve cases stateside and in foreign countries. McGee and Bishop were sent in Afghanistan in the previous episode to investigate the death of 13 Marines. With their combined wit and skills as NCIS agents, the two found out that an American private military contractor has been leaking to terrorist the route of Marine convoys.
Meanwhile, Dr. Mallard (David McCallum) will be missed by fans once again after he bid goodbye to Palmer (Brian Dietzen) in the past episode. He told his protegee that he will be taking a vacation for the meantime as he needs a break from his book tour. Although he assured Jimmy that he will return soon, many fans felt sad about Ducky's absence in the succeeding episodes of Season 16.
NCIS Season 16 Episode 9 will air on December 4 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS. It will be the episode before the winter finale of the series on December 11. The CBS longest-running procedural drama is expected to feature a huge cliffhanger by then. It could be about Director Vance (Rocky Carroll).
It can be noticed that NCIS hasn't feature any update on what happened to Vance's dinner date with his new lady friend. Earlier this season, the NCIS director met a woman at the therapy center. It was later revealed that she is targeting Vance. She intentionally being friendly with Vance so she could easily put the director under surveillance.
