Song Joong Ki, Song Hye Kyo 2018: Why The 'Descendants Of the Sun' Stars Aren't Considering Having A Baby Now?

The tandem of Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo is, undeniably, one of the most popular pairings in the history of Hallyu. The on-screen couple's chemistry is very palpable that most of their fans thought that they are already an item while filming for the 2016 hit series titled Descendants of the Sun. Accurate enough, the Song-Song couple admitted the real score between them in July 2017 after several months of denial and hiding from the public.

On Oct. 31, 2017, Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo exchanged their wedding vows at Shilla Hotel in Seoul City, South Korea. Numerous close relatives, co-workers, and friends of the couple graced the prestigious event. However, many fans were saddened when the Song-Song couple announced that they need to stay away from the spotlight temporarily to focus on the newest chapter of their lives.

Because of this, avid followers of the Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo speculated that they must be planning to build their own family soon. Baby rumors continued swirling after some fans saw the Descendants of the Sun actor holding a book for babies after the MAMA 2017 event in Hong Kong last year. However, most recent reports suggest that this might not be the case.

The Jakarta Post shared that Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo are now ready to return to small screens after months of hiatus. The news outlet confirmed that the Descendants of the Sun actor would star in an upcoming period-fantasy drama series called Asadal Chronicles. The 32-year-old star will take the role of a man with a miserable fate who tries to fight against the extraordinary kingdom of Asadal.

The following new television show on tvN will also star Jang Dong Gun and Kim Ji Won. It will be the second time that Song Joong Ki and Ji Won to work together as they previously appeared on Descendants of the Sun. Song Hye Kyo, on the other hand, will star in a series titled "Boyfriend."

Aside from Song Hye Kyo, Park Bo Gum will also be a part of the new series. The Descendants of the Sun actress will portray the role of a "cold and ignorant" daughter of a very influential politician, but her life will change when she meets the Love in the Moonlight actor's character. Park Bo Gum, by the way, is a good pal of Song Joong Ki.

Aside from their upcoming projects, the Song-Song couple previously hinted that they are not planning to build their own family yet as they need to consider a lot of factors.
