Song Joong Ki, Song Hye Kyo 2018: 'Descendants Of The Sun' Stars Not Ready To Become Parents Yet?

There is no denying that Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo are among the most followed couples today. The Descendants of the Sun stars tied the knot last year, and their avid fans are expecting them to start building their own family soon. However, it seems like the couple is not ready to have a baby yet.

Korea Portal previously shared that reports about Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo expecting their first bundle of joy together have been making rounds online for quite some time now. Aside from the alleged baby bump sightings, it was even reported that the Descendants of the Sun actor was spotted holding a guidebook in dealing with babies days after the 2017 MAMA Awards in Hong Kong. However, it seems like these speculations are not true at all.

In fact, Song Hye Kyo finally addressed the ceaseless pregnancy rumors last month. HelloKpop reported that the wife of Song Joong Ki revealed their future plans. "Let the nature takes its course. I'm not sure, but I believe that day will come," the Descendants of the Sun actress told the reporters during the opening of an Omega store in Hong Kong on June 1.

Last year, Song Joong Ki also stated that having kids is not their priority as of the moment since they still need to realize some commitments. "We have jobs in which we have the attention of a lot of people. I definitely did become more wary. I'd like to train my mind," the husband of Song Hye Kyo said. "I do have to be more serious looking into the future. The projects I choose will become different too, especially when I get married and have children. Right now, it seems far off," The Descendants of the Sun actress added.

Despite this, devoted supporters of the couple remain excited about their future baby. As a matter of fact, the Descendants of the Sun stars topped Panel Now's Most Anticipated Celebrity Couple's Baby survey.
