So were their romantic scenes just plain acting or was there a real-life romance brewing between the two of them at the time?
Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye have never addressed all the dating speculations, but the Legend of the Blue Sea actor’s agency has slammed the reports, saying that it’s “ridiculous and 300% false.” Clearly, The Heirs co-stars were never a couple outside the set, despite the Chinese media’s claim that the pair had been dating for two months when the report was made.
As it turns out, the romantic chemistry that viewers saw in The Heirs was just a result of two stars with great acting skills. However, even though Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye have no love relationship in real life, fans still ship them and wish the two to date.
But then the 31-year-old South Korean actor, singer, and model started to date Suzy Bae. All the Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye shippers felt that there was no chance for their idols to become an item because the Legend Of The Blue Sea actor and the former miss A singer’s relationship was very promising. In fact, Lee Min Ho and Suzy Bae were dubbed as South Korea’s power couple at the time.
However, the pair ended up in Splitsville after two years of dating. Suzy Bae moved on with now ex-boyfriend Lee Dong Wook, while Lee Min Ho remained single and is keeping himself busy in completing his mandatory military service.
It now appears that the stars have finally aligned for Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye. Unfortunately for their fans, no. Although the Boys over Flowers actor is back on the market, the 28-year-old South Korean actress and singer is off the market. Park Shin Hye is currently dating actor Choi Tae Joon, and both of their agencies said that they’ve been a couple for about a year now.
As for Lee Min Ho, he is reassuring his fans that he will be back in the entertainment world after his enlistment with a “mysterious big project.” Many believe that this highly-anticipated project will be The Heirs 2 where he will reunite with Park Shin Hye.
